I have to say one of the toughest things about suburban homes is the cookie cutter builder layouts. The charm and character from century old homes in the city is definitely lost out here. Generally speaking, you can walk into one suburban home, and chances are you can walk into the same layout a few more times on the same street. Even so, having this blank slate really allows you to add your own character and charms, and really customize your home to how you'd want it without having to tear out a whole bunch beforehand. So when it came to Suburban Faux Pas blogger, Krystin Lee's master bedroom, once Lark and Linen and Pepper B. Design got their hands on it, you knew there would be thoughtful and personalized details everywhere. I'm pretty sure we all wanted to move into her suburban retreat!
